Put Verbomatico on your home screen
Verbomatico is not in the App Store or on Google Play, and it does not need to be. It installs straight from the browser in about ten seconds and then opens like any other app. Here is how, device by device.

What “installing” means here
Verbomatico is a web app. Your browser can pin it to the home screen with its own icon, and from then on it opens full screen, without the address bar, in a window of its own. Nothing is downloaded from a store, it takes next to no space on the phone, and your account, your coins and your songs are the same ones you see on the website — because it is the website.
Android
In Chrome, the browser most Android phones come with:
- Open verbomatico.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
- Tap “Add to Home screen”. On some phones the same option is called “Install app”.
- Confirm with “Install” or “Add”. The icon appears on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Samsung Internet — tap the three-line menu at the bottom right, then the option to add the page, and choose the home screen as the destination.
- Firefox — tap the ⋮ menu and choose the option to add the page to the home screen.
iPhone and iPad
On Apple devices the option lives in the Share menu:
- Open verbomatico.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up. On an iPhone it sits at the bottom of the screen, on an iPad at the top. If you cannot see it, tap the ⋯ button first.
- Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add” at the top right.
Before iOS 16.4 this only works in Safari. From iOS 16.4 on, Chrome, Edge and Firefox for iPhone carry the same “Add to Home Screen” entry in their own Share menu. If the entry is missing altogether, you are almost certainly inside another app’s browser — see the next section.
If the link opened inside Instagram, X or Facebook
A link you tap inside those apps opens in a small built-in browser, not in Chrome or Safari. That browser cannot install anything: the option simply is not there, however long you look for it. Get out of it first:
- Tap the ⋯ (or ⋮) menu at the top right of the page.
- Choose the option that opens the page in your browser. Depending on the app it names Chrome or Safari, or says “external browser” or “system browser”.
- Once the page is open in the real browser, follow the Android or iPhone steps above.
If you cannot find that menu, the plain way always works: open Chrome or Safari yourself and type verbomatico.com.
Computer
On a computer Verbomatico installs as a window of its own, with an icon in the taskbar or the Dock.
- Chrome — open verbomatico.com and click the install icon at the right end of the address bar — a small screen with a downward arrow. If it is not there, open the ⋮ menu and look in the “Cast, save and share” group for the option to install the page as an app.
- Edge — click the icon with three squares and a plus sign at the right end of the address bar, or open the ⋯ menu, go to “Apps” and choose “Install this site as an app”.
What you get
- Full screen: no address bar and no tabs, so the game has the whole display.
- An icon of its own on the home screen, and its own card when you switch between apps.
- No store download and no storage to speak of: it is a shortcut to the site, not a copy of it.
- Nothing to update. Every time you open it, you get the current version.
- The same account everywhere: log in on the phone and on the computer, and your songs, coins and progress follow you.
One thing it does not do is work offline. Verbomatico needs a connection, installed or not.
How to remove it
Removing the icon deletes nothing from your account: your progress is kept with your login, not on the device.
- Android — press and hold the icon and choose the option to uninstall or remove it. On some phones you drag the icon to the top of the screen instead.
- iPhone and iPad — press and hold the icon and choose the remove option in the menu that appears.
- Computer — open the Verbomatico window, click the ⋮ menu in its title bar and choose the uninstall option.
Try it on a real song
Pick any song from the catalog and play it — your first one needs no account.
