“Quédate” is the hugely popular collaboration between the Argentine producer Bizarrap and the Spanish singer Quevedo, released in 2022 as the fifty-second edition of Bizarrap’s celebrated “Music Sessions”. Blending reggaeton and melodic electronic pop, it pairs a glossy, night-drive beat with Quevedo’s hazy, auto-tuned vocal about a fleeting romance and the wish for someone to stay, capturing the sound of a new generation of Spanish-language urban music. Bizarrap produced it and shares the writing credit with Quevedo and Santiago Alvarado; the session went out on 6 July 2022.
