About the song
«Verschwommen» — "blurred" — is a single by the Berlin rapper Ski Aggu together with the producer Ericson. It appeared on streaming services in mid-August 2026; the platforms give 13 August as the release date, and the label line reads jungeratze, the artist’s own label, which works in partnership with Universal Music. According to the official credits, Ski Aggu wrote the lyrics, while Ericson composed, produced and mixed the track; the mastering was done by Tommy Montana. The song is short even by today’s standards: a little over two minutes, with a chorus that comes back four times and a single long verse in the middle.
Ski Aggu is the stage name of August Jean Diederich, born in 1997 in the Berlin district of Wilmersdorf. He is recognisable at a glance, because he almost always performs in ski goggles and a tracksuit. His breakthrough came in 2022 with «Party Sahne», a track produced by Endzone and by the same Ericson who stands next to him on this single. In 2023 «Friesenjung», recorded with the Dutch singer Joost Klein and the comedian Otto Waalkes, went to number one in Germany and Austria, and his albums «Denk mal drüber nach…» (2023) and «Wilmersdorfs Kind» (2024) both topped the German album chart.
