Songs at level C1
The 5 cards we grade at C1, across 3 languages and 668 study entries. Every card links to its own page, with the words it teaches and a few real questions you can try without an account.
What C1 means for a song
At C1 the difficulty is rarely the words. It is compression — a line that says three things at once, or leans on a reference the writer assumed you would have. These cards are for people who already understand the language and want the half-step from understanding it to hearing it at full speed without translating first.

How we grade a song
Each card gets a CEFR grade from its own lyric — vocabulary spread, sentence length, tense range and how much of it is idiom. The full method is in the levels guide.
